Teaser images of BLACKPINK have been released.
At 3 PM on August 3, YG Entertainment posted teaser images of BLACKPINK on its official blog in the run up to the girl group’s debut, making the fans anticipate their debut even more.
In one of the teaser images, all the members of BLACKPINK stand side by side in a pinkish background. They gave off their charm to the fullest by standing in different poses. Another image shows the perfect figures of BLACKPINK members as they pose with their backs towards the camera.
In the morning of the same day, YG released a pictorial of ROSÉ. In the pictorial, ROSÉ looks innocent and dreamy-like in a white t-shirt and a jean jacket. She has her long brown hair down and is looking straight at the camera.
ROSÉ is the main vocalist of BLACKPINK and has featured on G-DRAGON’s solo songs. She was raised abroad and is good at playing the guitar.
A YG official commented, “ROSÉ’s dad thought his daughter, who was 15 at the time, had great talent and sent an audition video to YG. That’s how she joined YG as a trainee. Her family still lives abroad, and only ROSÉ started living in Korea when she was 15 and began her life as an YG trainee. She is now the main vocalist of BLACKPINK.”
BLACKPINK is a four-member group that has JENNIE, JISOO, LISA, and ROSÉ as its members. YG’s main producer TEDDY, who also produced a number of hit songs for 2NE1 and BIGBANG, has been given the task of writing, composing, and directing all the songs of BLACKPINK. The group has recently finished shooting all the videos, and it is said that four choreographer from abroad are in charge of making the choreography of their debut single. Therefore, expectations are running especially high for their debut song and performance.
Meanwhile, the average age of BLACKPINK’s members is 19, and they have all gone through hard, rigorous training at YG for four to six years. YG will be posting new images of BLACKPINK every day until the day of their debut.
